Port Gamble Trail Draft Feasibility Study Open House
Wednesday, March 28 at 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston, WA
Kitsap County invites you to a community open house to learn about the
Draft Feasibility Study underway for a 6-7 mile shared-use trail
connecting SR 104 in Port Gamble to Stottlemeyer Road NE. This
shared-use trail is part of the Sound-to-Olympics Trail concept
connecting the Hood Canal Bridge, Kingston, Poulsbo, and Bainbridge Island.
During the open house, County staff will provide an overview of the
Draft Feasibility Study, share work study materials, and take public
comments. All interested parties are invited to attend.
The Draft Feasibility Study identifies a preferred trail alignment and documents
environmental concerns, design and constructability, operational
constraints, and estimated costs associated with constructing a trail.
If built, the bicycle and pedestrian trail will provide a non-motorized
corridor connecting locations within northern Kitsap County.
